Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving. I love having family and friends around and being able to eat all the wonderful, delicious foods all day long. (Leftovers are good too!) This year Grandma made the Turkey and it was THE BEST turkey I have ever had. We had 23 people over this year, all around "one table". With us were our 10, plus Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Kim, Uncle Dan with his friend Doug and Dougs wife and two children, Freddie Zink, (who made the most amazing bean salad you could ever have. ok, yes, I said BEAN SALAD, I mean how can that ever taste good, but hers was incredible and she was so kind to share the recipe) and we had Natalie, our "adopted BYU daughter" from Michigan and her two roommates. Freddie Zink said the Thanksgiving Dinner at our house was becoming a "National Treasure". I like that word, "Treasure." I treasure my family, my life, my country, my friends, and my taste buds. Life is good. We kept up with our tradition and had everyone sign the table cloth. Sweet memories!
